How do I get started in Natural Lifemanship?Updated 3 years ago

Thank you for reaching out to the Natural Lifemanship Institute. We are so happy you have found us and excited to join you on this journey or learning, discovery, and healing.

All of our Natural Lifemanship trainings are about building a connected relationship with a horse in a slow and deliberate way. This process requires patience, presence, mindfulness, connection and self-control. We believe safety in the relationship is the effect of the manner in which the relationship is built. Our trainings provide a rewarding experience where you can practice these principles and help you build relationships that are safe, based on predictability, trust, and connection.

The first training that everyone takes with Natural Lifemanship is the Fundamentals training. Each of our trainings build upon each other. In the Fundamentals training you will learn the basic principles of Natural Lifemanship. This training will build the foundation for every training that follows it. Be sure to scroll down the entire Fundamentals informational page so that you can decide which track of the Fundamentals training, whether it be the Foundations, Core or Jumpstart, will be best suited for your goals along with seeing what you will learn each week throughout the course. We have three Fundamentals trainings per year. Here are the remaining training dates for 2022:

-September 7th registration begins for the September 19th-November 18th cohort.

The next training to participate in is the Intensive training. In the Intensive training, you will go into a deeper understanding of the NL principles, there will also be personal growth and personal care segments that involve knowing your own attachment style and how your history impacts your work. In addition, you will be learning the nuance of relationship building between you, your clients, and your horses and how to effectively facilitate sessions. Again, scroll down the entire page to see what you will be learning each week in this Intensive course and how it is designed with a lot of interaction with your NL trainers and other Intensive participants. We offer two NL Intensive trainings per year. Here are the remaining dates for 2022:

-August 8th registration begins for the August 22th-December 16th cohort
