Once I've taken the Fundamentals, can I start using these principles in session?Updated 3 years ago

YES!!!   Once you learn the NL principles you can start implementing them to the best of your understanding and skill set.  The more you use them, practice them, and the more you learn through NL trainings, the more comfortable you will become applying NL principles. What you learn definitely becomes a way of thinking and a lens from which you look through for all of life's relationships.
